Ken Falkenstein was born in New York City and grew up in Ohio and Indiana. After graduating high school, Ken joined the army. When he finished in 1988, he attended Old Dominion University where he studied Secondary Education. From there, Ken began working for U.S. Senator John Warner. During his experience on the Hill, Ken decided to start taking law courses at George Mason University, hoping to further his career. “I spent the first few years of my career working for insurance companies. I switched to representing injured clients because I saw that the insurance companies were placing their own bottom lines ahead of making sure that people whose lives have been upheaved by the negligence of their insureds are treated fairly and are fairly compensated.”
Ken works in our Virginia Beach location where he, his wife, three sons and two step daughters love being a part of the Hampton Roads community.
Ken teaches Hebrew school and volunteers with the Hampton Roads Down Syndrome Association. He’s also a history buff and loves to read books on history and visit historical sites. When asked about his passions, he also mentions his love of music, “I have a collection of over 1,500 CDs encompassing almost every genre, including rock, blues, and classical, with healthy doses of country, jazz, and swing as well” and a traveling opportunity he had that took him on a six week tour of Israel.
