Born in South Carolina, Miranda James spent her childhood and teenage years in Charlotte, NC and Bel Air, Md. After being a 4-sport standout in high school, she attend The Ohio State University where she was a 4-year letter winner, two time All-American and captain of the Women’s Lacrosse team.
Thereafter, she attended Widener University School of Law and received her Juris Doctor. Miranda is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Pennsylvania State Bar, Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association and American Association of Justice.
She spends her time participating in as many sporting events as possible; soccer, football, running, you name she plays it. She looks for any opportunity to travel; whether it is here in the States or abroad, she is always looking to hit the road. Miranda also enjoys a good book and spending time with her wild, white boxer, Stella who keeps her on her toes.
Miranda is an avid, perhaps borderline obsessed Ohio State fan. She will travel near and far to watch her beloved Buckeyes play. There is even a mosaic of her suited up playing lacrosse displayed in the Value City Arena on The Ohio State University campus showing her in her golden days.
