Dear Mr. Bieber:

Thank you very much for your recent contribution of $30,748 to the United Network for Organ Sharing. This very generous gift covered our cost of television advertising during March and April’s Donate Life Month campaign. We are very grateful for your individual involvement as well.

Your interest, commitment and compelling personal experience has helped enable UNOS to increase education and awareness of organ and tissue donation throughout the metro Richmond area. For that we are truly grateful.

Again, we thank you for your generous support of UNOS’ mission to save as many lives as possible through organ transplantation. We wish you the best of health with your “new” kidney.

Sincerely,

Walter K. Graham

Dear Mr. Bieber:

Thank you for your gift to the University of Virginia School of Medicine. As you requested, your contribution will support the myotonic muscular dystrophy research of Dr. Mani Mahadevan. On behalf of the School of Medicine and the patients who will ultimately benefit from your generosity, I offer my sincere gratitude.

Private support is an invaluable source of funding for medical research. Your gift will provide Dr. Mahadevan the latitude necessary for immediate response to new modes of thought and new technologies. For that reason, your contribution may expedite his research and bring new medical miracles to the world with greater speed.

Again, thank you for your support of biomedical research excellence at the University of Virginia.

Sincerely,

Arthur Garson, Jr., M.D., M.P.H.
