Plavix
The Case Against Plavix
Once thought as a safer alternative to aspirin, recent studies have found that the popular heart medication, Plavix, is linked to serious adverse side effects. Research suggests that Plavix taken alone or in combination with aspirin may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, stroke, heart attack, death, and other life threatening conditions.
A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine proves that the risks involved with taking Plavix do outweigh the benefits. In fact, Plavix could actually be causing the very problems it was intended to prevent.
If you or a loved one has suffered a heart attack or stroke while taking Plavix, you may qualify for damages or remedies that may be awarded in a Plavix class action or lawsuit.
