Not long ago, I had a young lawyer ask me whether the best way to get trial experience was to sit second chair or just go to the courtroom and watch others in trial. That’s a difficult question to answer because it still lacks the requirement of experience.
So, here are some general thoughts from others on experience. Does this answer the young lawyer’s question?
